I want to hide Traq from everyone that isn't registered and would like to do it without a .htaccess file.

Figured if($user->loggedin) should be used somewhere? Could anyone point me in the right direction=

Traq is still alive and I'm still working on it, Just been busy with my other projects I haven't updated in over 5 months.

A new theme for Traq 2 will be available in beta 2, much like the original theme but with some differences. ~~, and also written pretty much in HTML5.~~

Why?
Stupid idiots creating random accounts and doing shit all with them.

When will they be open?
Month or so, maybe.

What if they do it again?
I will find a way to stop them, reCaptcha, new forum, something.

Traq 2.0 Beta 1 is now available for download.

Hopefully not many bugs will be found and the next release will be either an RC or Stable release.

I know I haven't done much work on Traq for a while, I've been moving hosts a lot and have some news about that.

But first, I'd like to say that once I'm settled down and have the sites running stable (been having some mail() issues with the host) work will start again.

I am sorry to say that, after experiencing PHP troubles with Site5 I will be going with the other host I looked at, Media Temple.

Once I get a Media Temple Grid-Service account going/reactivated I will move the site one last time.

I know this is getting rather annoying, especially for me having to upload, download, transfer, and setup everything all over again every time.

Hide projects

Just installed the 2.0 installation, so far I'm very happy with it. Great job!

There is only one feature request I really miss:
Is it possible to hide projects from users?
I want nobody to see any project, until the user has granted access to the project given in the admin panel.

This is because I want all my issues to be in one place, for all my projects and customers. But I do not want my customers to see each others projects and issues!

Is this possible? Will it be in the future?

GeSHi for the Source Browser

This plugin will enable you to use GeSHi in the source code browser.

All you have to do is download GeSHi and drop it into the "plugins/geshi" directory (you will have to create this) in the root Traq directory.

And then install the attached plugin.

I will not be providing support for this plugin.

Integration with WordPress

For a project i'm doing with a mate it would be very nice if Traq would sync/merge it's userbase with Wordpress.

What are you guyss thoughts on that? Is it being made already?

My guess is to simply remove the Traq registration process and have Wordpress edit the user table of traq since that table is much simpler than it's own.

This could be achieved with the numerous hooks in WP with a plugin.

Moving servers

Just thought I'd let everyone know now that I will be moving the Traq website and Traq installation to a new server within the next week or so.

I will update this post when the move has started, until then feel free to keep posting, reporting bugs and requesting features.

reCaptcha Error

HTML and Template Hooks

If you're creating a hook for a template and want to use HTML without wrapping an echo() around it, here's how you do it.

Simply start with a PHP close tag, add your HTML, and use the PHP open tag at the end, here's an example:

Notifications

Did anyone look into a simple notification system yet?

It would be wonderful if there is a message sent when:
1. a new ticket is posted
-- user should be told his ticket is made and someone will update it shortly
-- proj. manager should be notified a new ticket is made for project x and is this urgent and is coupled to this component. Optionally admin too.

2. a ticket is updated
-- user/owner should be notified a reply has been posted / ticket status has changed. With some information what has happened.

3. new user registration
-- user should be informed of his new account and be welcomed to the site
-- admin should be notified of new users

All but the 3rd emails should have a link to the ticket it belongs to.

Perhaps other events that require/could use an email notification. But these are mandatory i think.

I would look into it myself, but with the documentation not being released yet i have no time to sift through the code and make it work.

Emoticons plugin

This is a simple plugin that adds emoticons in every text formated by the formattext function (tickets, comments).

Rember to upload "plugins" directory to your Traq installation folder.
