Moving servers

Just thought I'd let everyone know now that I will be moving the Traq website and Traq installation to a new server within the next week or so.

I will update this post when the move has started, until then feel free to keep posting, reporting bugs and requesting features.

The new server is being setup.

Once it's been tested to make sure it's all setup properly and can be accessed I will start moving over the traqproject.org website.

Once that is done, I will move the Traq installation tracking Traq over.

Server move started rough but is smoothing out.

I know I just moved the Traq site to a new server, but I've been looking for a new one that isn't as expensive as the current one. This is the reason development has been a little slow.

Are you using a VPS or not? For as little as $12 per month, I can offer you space on my Windows machine if you want?

I'm currently looking at Media Temple or another host at the moment.

Just a couple of things.

First, I've decided to move to another server again because: I don't really need a server all to myself (at least not anymore) so there is no need to be paying so much for something I'm not using in the way it should.

Second, I've decided to go with Site5. Yes, shared hosting with Site5. I don't run any high demand websites and if I do I will find a good host for it (like Media Temple's (gs) Service).

I will post again once I have started moving things over.

Move completed. Moving the site to a shared host has already helped improve Traq by bringing out issues with the way some shared hosts run PHP.
